surprised if I had. It's hard to come up with not lame bucket list
items.
Let me tell you about it though. This boat rocks. And sways. And
bounces. It is not like any other cruise I have been on. I can't
figure if it's because of the location of the boat, or because I was
younger on the other cruises so didn't notice, or because of the
smallness of this ship. My best guess is the latter. Another factor,
possibly, is that we have to make up 27 hours in two days because of
our late departure. We are actually going "full speed ahead."
I can constantly feel the boat and am made aware that yes we are still
on water. I think when I come back I will have tighter abs because I
always have to be careful of where I'm setting my feet.
It's also quite mentally exhausting. It's compared to having the
spins (which Haley and I so oddly enjoy) but ALL the time. Our
drawers fall open quite frequently, the water in the shower rarely
falls straight, and anyone under the influence would only be noticed
perhaps because they are able to walk in a straight line.
I haven't really slept well because I wake up to sensation that I'm
falling most regularly.
Even though this post makes it sound like I'm dying, I'm not. It's
such a new experience that although I complain, I'm kind of enjoying
it. You know like those people who have seven finals in 2 days and
tell people like it's the worst thing in the entire world but eat it
up because they know everyone is feeling sorry for them. This is like
that.
Fun Fact: Morgan, you definitely should not take partake in a SAS
voyage.
