3. Drink on the Beach

So much to write about.  Ok a few logistical things first.  Obviously I finally set up my email.  I can't respond to emails on my phone though so I have to be ready to pull out my computer in order to respond.

The boat rocking causes a lot of computers to crash when past SASers have brought them home so I'm trying to keep mine turned off as much as possible so it's an even longer process to connect to the "real" world.

We have 120 minutes of internet time but we can't access Youtube, Skype, or Facebook so I'm very confused about what we would use our internet minutes for.  Are there any other sites on the internet??

These first two days have been super overwhelming.   We had orientation yesterday.  They teased that the goal was to bring our mood down as much as possible. It was all about health, safety, rules, rules, and more rules.  They definitely succeeded.

We were suppose to leave port on Thursday and 5pm.  There were 23 students though whose passports hadn't been returned from getting visas.  They had to go to Fort Lauderdale, FL instead of to the Bahamas.  Because we are a "community" I guess the captain decided to wait for them.  So they kept pushing back the time.  We ended up leaving yesterday (Friday) and 8pm.

It was cute.  The last 10 people walked down the dock at 7:40pm and the entire shipboard community went outside and cheered from the decks as they boarded.  I can tell already it's going to be a tight community.

Will someone send me the closing price of INO everyday???

Fun Fact:  Rocking is an understatement.  The movement of this ship deserves a post of itself.

PS. We also can't send attachments or photos over email so I can't put pics on my blog until an internet café at port L  Sorrrrry

Also I want to remind everyone that this blog is pretty much a stream of consciousness.   Grammar, punctuation, and spelling may not be correct.
