looks pretty much the exact same though. Sorry to disappoint.
Also sorry but internet has been a pain in the you-know-what. I can't
even get it in my room anymore. It's very frustrating.
So for the last two days of India we pretty much bummed around the
city. Mostly shopping. Took some more tuk tuks. We shopped quite a
bit in Jew Town. (It sounds bad to call it Jew Town but that's what
it's called). Also it's interesting to note there are only 9 Jews
(those who are part of the synagogue). I have a hard time
comprehending this.
The last day I went to the hotel close too so I could access
internet. Even though it was only for a few minutes it was so
amazing. I miss just being able to mindlessly stalk people on
facebook, or stumble, or sit and watch millions of youtube videos.
Awww I'm nostalgic for internet.
PS. There are so many fads on the ship that come from each port. In
Ghana, everyone had the fabric backpacks, pants, and hats. Vietnam
everyone has custom made suits and fake Ray Bans. Mauritius everyone
has hangovers. In India, everyone has the baggy pants and henna
tattoos. I'm not a huge fan of henna so instead of getting some big
flower pattern that was all over everyone's arms and hands I decided
to test out a tattoo that I considered getting in Singapore. A
freckle. It was so cool. I probably won't get a tattoo though
because my Mom said she'd cut me off financially if I did. Love you
Mom!
I may get one when the Red Cross starts bugging me about donating
blood again (I get a couple years reprise because I've been taking
malaria meds). And then can continue giving a legit excuse instead of
pretending I'm my secretary when they call.
