28. Go on a wine tour

Again I'm sorry I'm skipping around I just have certain things I want
to write about more than others.

On the sixth day we checked out Long Street in the morning and had an
FDP for class. It was a wine production tour for my Global Finance
class. It was more of a wine tasting though. I have never been on a
wine tour. It was awesome. One of the vineyards in one of three
carbon certified vineyards in the world. I learned the correct way to
taste. They let us pour our own tastes though. Mistake. He said we
were the only group of 40 to need four bottles. Whoops.

The second place was less cool but still fun. They had dogs. I
thought I was going to get rabies.

I really wanted to send bottles home but it cost $700 for three. What
the heck!? 700 dollars for $10 bottles. Crazy.

Before we left, another girl and I were planning on splitting a bottle
for the 45 minute bus ride back to the ship. The bottles were 40 rand
though (around 5 dollars) so we decided even if we only had a sip and
dumped the rest out it was worth it. That was probably a mistake. I
think I was the drunkest I've been since leaving the US and it was on
an FDP. Crazy. Yes for my classes I drink wine. Classy.

I'm so tired again. I realized that I went out every night. So I was
on high speed from 7am until 8pm doing tourist activities and then
would go out until 3am. Every. Single. Day. I'm dead. I would
honestly get back to the ship and run around my room changing and
getting ready for the night. I think I was on the ship for a total of
30 minutes every day besides my sleeping. I'm exhausted.
